Mordecai, Serafine and Nico. I hadn't done any proper color work with this group yet, so I decided to do a little poster-style illustration involving the three of them. That's not Serafine's usual getup - I suppose she can't pass up the opportunity to get dolled up for a special occasion, though. She's dressed as her personal version of a Voodoo mambo.
The image was sketched in pencil and painted with a tablet and Photoshop.

Hi, Tracy! I've been enjoying this series through DA for some time now, and I'm absolutely thirlled that you're putting some of it up over here at ArtSpots! This piece in particular is a very striking contrast from the sepia-toned works. The warm lighting really pops everything out. Lovely! I can't wait until these characters appear in the actual storyline! =)

yes!! lackadaisy is fantastic and these full color illustrations really help bring the comic to life- especially for me since i'm never big on graphic novel of comic styles. wonderful work!

The details in this piece astound me. Beautiful work, great expressions, love the colors and lighting - and the wrinkles in the clothing is spot-on and...wow. Yeah, even the beads are boggling.

Wow, this is great. The shading is wonderful and the colors are amazingly done. Also, it's a great picture with the three characters perfectly placed. Very good!
